Great Team Building for a Great Cause

All for the Kids!

Every year 100% of all the ticket sales for this event are given to the Charities selected by each workplace. To date Soo Sings for Kids has raised $94,500 for local children's charities.

In our 6th year our goal is to raise another $20,000 - bringing us over the $100,000 mark!

We have created a DONATE button on our home page, to help us reach our goal!

Now ANYONE can contribute by clicking on the DONATE button.

Soo Sings for Kids is not a registered charity, so we are unable to provide tax receipts.

In the event of a large donation, we can approach one of our listed registered charities, and arrange a receipt from that organization. Feel free to contact us for more information about this option.

Here are some comments from some of the local charities who have benefited over the past four years…

Easter Seals…“What an incredible and humbling experience! The money received supports our local children and youth with physical disabilities through experiences at Camp Merrywood and Camp Woodeden, and assistance with purchasing expensive equipment like wheelchairs and communication devices and creating programs that help 'KIDS BE KIDS'.”

~Heidi MacDonald, Easter Seals spokesperson, and special education teacher at Central Algoma Secondary School

“THRIVE’s Foundation has been the fortunate recipient of donations received through Soo Sings for Kids. The donations have been directed to THRIVE’s Family Assistance Fund. These funds may be used to support travel to medical appointments in other communities; offset the cost of specialized equipment, footwear; support participation in community recreational programs, and transportation to centre-based clinics and programs. THRIVE’s Foundation sincerely appreciates the support it has received over the past 4 years!”

~ Susan Vanagas-Cote, Executive Director, THRIVE Child Development Centre

Jump Start..."These funds go directly to the kids in Sault Ste Marie to foster a healthy physical lifestyle with our local Jumpstart chapter. The funds help kids locally and there are no deductions for administration, so 100% goes directly to the kids. Jumpstart is very appreciative of Soo Sings and what they have provided for our local program!"

~ David McClenahan, Canadian Tire Jump Start
